[Another week at the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation, and another Liv has appeared. Her behavior is quite strange, even by the standards of a human. So when he gets home from work, he knocks on the door of the only person he knows that can possibly explain the phenomena.]
Depends on what it's for. [He waits a moment, then sighs and adds as if realizing he'd need to;] Come in.
[McCoy has a tablet out, still mostly reviewing what advances Nova City has in it's technology. What ways to best sneak it into Genessia's hospital and elevate them a little. He would consider doing a lot of things for his own medbay these days.]
[It's a good thing he did extend the invite, because Spock was not going to enter without one. He gives a nod in greeting as he enters the room, closing the door behind him out of a recently learned habit; he'd had to adjust to the lack of automatic doors in this world.]
Have you made the acquaintance of Doctor Olivia Moore?
[If he has it will make explaining this a lot easier since he will have likely seen it firsthand.]
I talked with her when I first got here, over the video. After that whole singing fiasco too. Haven't really seen a lot of her face to face but I invited her over for that housewarming party. If we ever get around to it with Jim gone and every other damn thing happening around here.
[Singing fiasco? He wants to correct him in that it would not have been considered a fiasco but more of him disgracing himself, but he hardly thinks that will keep them on topic. Best to table the discussion for another day.]
In my time living with them, I have learned that humans express a wide array of emotions and traits, but tend to trend towards one overall personality. Doctor Moore does not follow this trend. Each week she appears to have an entirely different personality, however as long as I have known her they have not repeated, suggesting it is not dissociative identity disorder. I was curious if you would be willing to share your medical expertise on this matter as you are far more familiar with humans' minds than I am.
